I couldn't resist sharing this after Jezebel's May 12 piece on Gmail ads served up after breakups. I often get really funny and off-base Gmail ads; here is the latest:

Sure I love owls and sure my business is named Owliday Inn and sure I dissected owl pellets in elementary school, but does Google really think that I would be interested in purchasing owl pellets these days? Hey, at least I didn't receive a post-break up ad promising: "Get Your Man Back Now."

Owliday Inn

As of today, I am officially owner of a sole proprietorship called Owliday Inn. For anyone who hasn't read James Howe's Bunnicula book series, the name of my business is a tribute to the second book in the series, Howliday Inn.

I am very excited and hope that I can follow in my dad's footsteps as an accomplished business owner. Wish me luck!
